ABOUT
The two-year-old, well-built Upgrader v/d Braembeier Z comes from a family that has already produced several Grand Prix horses, which is evident in his appearance. This light-footed stallion, whose granddam jumped at 1.60m level, already shows great potential.
The 1.65m GP stallion Utamaro d’Ecaussines Z first rose to fame with Joe Clee. Later, he participated in the World Equestrian Games of Tryon under William Whitaker and won the World Cup at London Olympia. He concluded his career under Niels Bruynseels, with whom he placed second in the Nations Cup of La Baule and fifth in the LGCT GP of Cascais Estoril.
Upgrader’s six-year-old dam, Hublot vd Braembeier Z, has an interesting pedigree as a daughter of Heartbreaker x Burggraaf x Le Mexico. She is bred out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Pernot, who competed under American riders Lindsay Douglass and Romelia Calderon.
Pernot's first foal at age four was Unbreakable (1.30m level), who in turn produced two 1.30m-1.35m showjumping horses. Pernot is also a half-sister to Unpredictable (1.55m Grand Prix with Videl Vogt) and Thunder (1.50m level).
