QUARTZ

ABOUT

The three-year-old Quartz is well- proportioned, has plenty of scope and blood. We wouldn’t be surprised if she develops into a Grand Prix showjumping horse.

Sire Q’Chacco Blue van Essene is a nine-year-old stallion who was started at international 1.30m level as a six-year-old with Eric van der Vleuten Jr. He descends from top sire Chacco Blue and is a half-brother to Jolie van Essene D15 (1.60m Grand Prix). Their dam is a half-sister to Extra van Essene (1.60m Grand Prix), ridden by, among others, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Darragh Kenny.

Dam Hadyla is sired by the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Eldorado van de Zeshoek. Granddam Nolliepop (Epilot) earned the keur and preferent predicates and gave a 1.20m and a 1.30m level showjumping horses. Several 1.40–1.45m level showjumping horses are closely related.
