CHANELL

ABOUT

Chanell is a beautiful 6-year-old grey Holsteiner mare. She is careful on the jump and takes her time — that is a quality. She can trot well, has spacious gaits and a good canter. A horse for multiple disciplines.

This horse comes from one of the biggest and most renowned breeders in Germany, a breeder who has produced several 1.60m jumping horses and approved breeding stallions. The owner simply had far too many horses, which made this horse available for sale. The horses are hardly trained and still know very little; they have only recently been handled. As a result, they are not yet really easy or further educated, but that is exactly why we see so much potential here. In our opinion these are very interesting horses both for breeding and to continue developing for sport. They have had every opportunity to grow quietly and strongly, resulting in a well-developed body and a strong foundation. We have previously auctioned several horses from this breeder, including older horses that had little or no training. In the end, we gained satisfied customers from those horses. A unique opportunity to purchase a horse from a proven performance line. The horse has recently arrived in the Netherlands.

Sire COOPER VA (Cooper I) is approved for HOLST and competes at 1.55m level, with 44 offspring to his name.

Chanell’s dam line is the same top family as her “sister” Carola in this auction: dam Hoska VA (by Casall), granddam Toska III (by Quick Star) and great-granddam Operette III (by Contender). From this great-granddam come Vienna Olympic (by Cassini I), winner of the CSIO5* Nations Cup Final in Barcelona as an 11-year-old and multiple GCT competitions at 1.60m level, and Toulini Olympic (by Toulouse), also classified at 1.60m. Furthermore, Forino (approved HOLST stallion, 1.45m) and Diamant de Operette VA (1.45m, approved HOLST) also originate from this family line. This is a proven Holsteiner top family line.
