ABOUT
No lack of 1.60m level Grand Prix stallions in this pedigree. Cornet Obolensky, Big Star, Cicero Van Paemel and Chin Chin jumped the biggest courses in the world. The dam’s line goes back to Famose (Grannus x Zeus), who started at 1.50m level and even jumped at CHIO Aachen. She produced as many as three 1.60m level Grand Prix showjumping horses (Simply Grannus, Olisco M and G and C Quick Star) and five showjumping horses active at 1.30-1.45m level.
Cobalt Z is, via icsi, the first foal out of the 6yo Hamose, a promising grey mare who was sold to Russia. Grandam Damose performed at 1.30m level, great-grandam Zamose SR was active at 1.35m level. This family also produced the international showjumping horses Vocas (1.60m level), Ronaldo (1.60m level) and Boucherom (1.50m level).
Sire Cornet Obolensky, who, like Big Star, started in the Olympics as a 9-yr-old, belongs to the best sires in the world. There is not a Grand Prix where one of his products does not jump into the spotlights.
