ABOUT
This is an interesting colt. Not only for being a grandson of the famous For Pleasure, but also because two of his half-brothers are international showjumping horses. For Derby is a handsome, friendly foal with a beautiful expression.
Sire For the Future is a 7-yr-old premium stallion by For Pleasure x Nabab de Reve. René Tebbel and his son Maurice have already started him at international 1.30m level.
Dam Lena descends from the well-breeding Lord Pezi (1.45m level). Horsetelex registers 373 offspring by Lord Pezi, 77 of which are active at 1.50m-1.70m level, such as Lord Pepsi (1.70m Grand Prix under Paul Estermann in 2018).
Two sons of Lena are jumping at international level: the 9-yr-old Chriszi (1.40m level with Johan Kachelhoffer, RSA) and the 7-yr-old Casezi (1.30m level under Mikkel Flam, NOR) This family also gave Illustre d’Emma (1.50m level) and Pinon Voici (1.60m GP).
