ABOUT
The golden genes of For Pleasure are here reflected in his son Firth of Lorne. After the chestnut stallion performed at top-class level under Kathrin Eckermann and won, amongst other achievements, the LGCT Grand Prix of Hamburg in 2014, Marcus Ehning took over a few years later with success. They won, for example, the 1.55m Grand Prix of Jumping Zwolle in 2018.
This foal is bred out of the 13-yr-old Cleopatra (also for sale), who is also dam of the 7-yr-old I’m Special (I’m Special de Muze) who is jumping at international 1.30m level under Jamie Taylor (USA).
Her pedigree goes back via Crawford (1.50m level showjumping), Manhattan (1.60m level) and Aldatus Z (1.60m level) to Hilda (Legaat x Abgar xx), who produced several successful showjumping horses, such as Pegasus (1.60m Grand Prix) and Zidane (1.50m level). Hilda was a half-sister of three 1.50m-1.60m level horses and a cousin of as many as four 1.50-1.60m level horses. The sport was anchored in this family already a long time ago!
