ABOUT
The sport career of the 9-yr-old stallion Golden Star WV started like a comet. He drew attention in the GMB competition for 4-yr-old showjumping horses and several times scored top-3 placings with high marks for his jumping manners, particularly for his powerful and well-rounded jump. He later started at 1.20m level, but had to abandon the higher work because of a tendon injury.
Golden Star WV recovered (see veterinary report) and can still be started up to 1.10m level, but he is also an interesting stallion for breeding. He already produced several offspring with his special light chestnut color that, more importantly, display a good jumping technique.
His sire is former World Champion Vigo d'Arsouilles, his dam Athene II WV descends from Indoctro x Nimmerdor. She already produced two 1.45m level showjumping horses (Detroit WV and Espoir WV) and a 1.35m level showjumping horse. Closely related are the 1.50m level horses Quetsche de Montsec and Tampa Alia.
