OTISSEM

ABOUT

When you want a smart showjumping with a lot of balance, just watch the video of Otissem. This 3-yr-old, beautiful modelled gelding will be a great sport horse in the future. He jumps in his own way, but knows exactly where the poles are.

Sire Matisse de Mariposa, who jumped at 1.45m level, is genetically very interesting. He was bred out of the half-sister to the top-class horses Flora de Mariposa and Hermes de Mariposa and he is closely related to many more 1.60m GP horses.

Dam Kabiana descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Glasgow-W van het Merelsnest, who was very successful under Jur Vrieling. She is a full sister of the international 1.55m GP horse Iwan ridden by Tom Martens (NED). Grandam Vabiana (Jackson) is an elite-awarded mare at 1.35m level.

Worth mentioning is that great-grandam Fabiana (Wolfgang) is an aunt of the famous 1.60m Grand Prix horses Authentic van Beezie Madden (bronze in the Hong Kong Olympics) and Merlinda.
