How far can you come in the sport with a smart horse that has the right attitude? Very far. Ma Belle has precisely these qualities. This is no surprise because she is a daughter of Kannan, via Crown Z carrying the genes of the Olympic champion Ratina Z and an offspring of the Qerly Chin family. Ma Belle’s dam jumped at 1.45m level herself.

Sire Kannan performed at top-level for a long time and then was terribly popular by breeders and riders. He supplied numerous Grand Prix horses, such as, Olympic champion and World Cup winner Nino des Buissonnets, and more than 140 licensed sons, including Quabri de L’Isle. 

Dam Vigoureuse de la Pomme (Crown Z) performed up to international 1.45m level, as did grandam Sauterelle de la Pomme (For Pleasure). Via the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Narcotique de Muze II (Darco) this damline goes back to the World Cup mare Qerly Chin. The number of Grand Prix horses in this line is gigantic. 

Vigoureuse de la Pomme, for example, is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Vagabond de la Pomme, Ceasar de la Pomme (1.50m level) and another four 1.40/1.45m level showjumping horses. Narcotique de Muze already produced fourteen showjumping horses performing at 1.40m level and higher, including the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Querlybet Hero, Boyante de Muze, Seacoast Ferly, Farfelu de la Pomme and Giovanni de la Pomme.
