Will this become a successful showjumping or eventing horse? The 3-yr-old Karl van de Wilde Velden can go both ways in the future. He has strong movements and good jumping manners. Karl seems to be a very intelligent blood horse.
Sire Je t’Adore Fortuna, via Comfortuna VDL (1.50m level showjumping) a grandson of the top-class stallion Berlin, claims a very prominent role in the pedigree, being not only the sire but also the dam’s sire. He is AES licensed and is starting at international 1.30m level.
Grandam Joy van Broenshoof is an 8-yr-old that was started at international 1.30m level in 2021 by Molly Hay (USA). Joy’s sire El Primero (Numero Uno) also moved to the USA and was the 2019 winner of the prestigious International Hunter Derby in Wellington under Victoria Colvin.
Karl van de Wilde Velden comes from the same family as the 1.60m Grand Prix jumper Reality (Burggraaf).
