PAPILLION ROUGE

Despite being only four months under saddle at the time of the video day, Papillion Rouge had already jumped two courses, demonstrating his great attitude. This four-year-old gelding pushes off the ground with a lot of power and shows tons of scope. It wouldn't surprise us to see him competing in the bigger classes in the future. 

Sire Zento was a true future star as a son of Quasimodo Z (1.60m Grand Prix) out of the dam of Aachen winner Dobel’s Cento. Unfortunately, his sport career ended prematurely due to injury, and he faded from the spotlight in breeding. Horsetelex lists 262 offspring, including three at the 1.65m level (Danique, Daveau, Zandigo), four at 1.60m, and nine at 1.50m to 1.55m level. 

Dam Tara (Métall) jumped 1.30m courses, just like her dam Oletta (Silvio II x Ahorn x Joost). Tara’s son L’Apache is a NRPS-approved stallion. Tara herself is a half-sister to Aimee (1.60m Grand Prix), Tiramisu Z (1.50m level), Guilietta (1.40m level) and Caresse (1.35m level). Closely related are the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Manila VDL, Evita and Copa Cabana.
