Grandam Athena van ’t Merelsnest (Ahorn Z) is also the grandam of Click Clack VDC Z (1.50m level showjumping) and Chico VDC Z (1.25m level). Great-grandam Chiquita stands at the base of numerous international showjumping horses and is even the grandam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Sapphire, Livius van ’t Merelsnest and Qarco van ’t Merelsnest, the 1.55m level performing Bolero 111 and five 1.50m level horses.
